About

San Diego is my home, and I owe everything that I know to it. The wide majority of my education has come from my community. Not to mention, most of my lifelong friends have come from here, as well as my life experiences. So, in order to properly give thanks to my community, I have been giving back to San Diego through various acts of service, such as food distribution to those experiencing poverty or homelessness, for over a decade. I have been able to perform easily over a thousand hours of community service because of my deep and constant involvement in the country's largest youth organization: Boy Scouts of America. The Boy Scouts is responsible for developing my moral character and leadership skills, but also, most importantly, my passion for serving the community. Furthermore, my urge to serve others before myself was one of the key reasons why I decided to enlist with the Air Force Reserves, which has now extended my service to the United States as a whole. Now, as a proud Airman, it is my duty to exemplify the core values of integrity, unconditional service, and excellence in everything that I do. And most recently, I have become a political intern for my local city council member as well as state assembly representative, which will provide me with the proper experience I need to achieve my ultimate goal of becoming an elected public official.
